| Tiivistelmä: | The phenomenon of industrial partnership is described and analyzed. It is shown how alliances among companies of common concern are being formed for a definite period of time on the base of reciprocity of benefits. A few dominant models of partnership existing in the field of production and characteristic to the developed countries are explained. The most important aspects of cooperative efforts are discussed (concerning the determination of the size of production, quality, R and D etc.). Some practical effects of partnership are considered: 1. internal effects concerning capacity for innovation, diffusion of modern management techniques etc.; 2. external ones including concentration, formation of groups and inter-industrial links. |
