Tiivistelmä:Operating in the international arena increases potential ethical conundrums. Applying the principles of justice, rights, and utilitarianism to determine moral standards that can help managers solve most issues satisfactorily. In the international context, the question arises as to whose culture determines the standards. While there is often little difference in moral standards across cultures, the host country's standards would have to set the minimal acceptable levels where differences occur. Ethical issues will emerge in the international arena due to significant changes in the environment. Some of these changes are examined and the potential issues they may cause are discussed. The cases of pollution, biotechnology etc. are examined.
