| Tiivistelmä: | A corporation has been formed in the consumer goods industry through the fusion and amalgamation of a number of independent, internationally active companies. The next task is to rearrange the structures of the subsidiaries and the marketing companies of the previous enterprises. The requirements concerning the new corporate structure are summarized. One of the basic requirements is an effective flow of information among the business units located in different countries. It is shown how a special kind of standard software can be used to solve this complex problem efficiently. A compact cost/benefit analysis is provided. |
