| Tiivistelmä: | Management scientists get the impression that neither their theoretical nor their empirical achievements are fairly represented in the legal frameworks that lawmakers and judges define. Discussion of the shareholder value principle and its repercussions for German co-determination on the one hand, and of labour relations versus business research results on the other hand seem to indicate a common cause for divergent valuations. External effects of regulations, either with respect to the parties involved or the time frame of consideration, are not standardized, and thus might lead to substantially divergent results. However, even beyond this observation the question remains how communication between business scientists and lawers could be improved. |
