| Tiivistelmä: | International investment companies form new trusts to offer the public the opportunity to invest in emerging markets. The growing attention paid to the newly industrializing countries in the Far East is quite understandable. But the interest is not confined to the successful economies of the Far East. Countries, like India and Brazil attract companies trying to diversify their portfolios. Entering these new markets assures a lot of advantages (including tax reductions) but there are enormous problems as well (e.g debt/equity conversion). |
