| Tiivistelmä: | The strategies of retraining and enhancing human resources involve the usual motivational and training and development programs, but also are giving increased attention to employee assistance programs. At the same time it is becoming increasingly hard to obtain replacement employees because of labour shortage, and there is concern about accelerating workforce troubles that are becoming more expensive. Employee assistance programs have provided a way for organizations to implement human resource strategies for retraining and helping troubled employees. |
