| Tiivistelmä: | This research note represents an update on and further development of an earlier paper by Kay (1991) concerning the likely effects of European market integration on joint venture activity by European firms. Changes in the sources and nature of the databases used by the Commission add a further reason for this exercise, since it will be argued that the changes made will generally inhibit the ability of researchers to comment on patterns of activity and Commission policy in this area in the future. |
