| Tiivistelmä: | This paper examines the direct effects of perceived environmental uncertainty and moderating effects of key manager orientations in determining alliance use. Data drawn from a sample of 433 Norwegian manufacturing firms, is used. Results support a multidimensional view of perceived uncertainty and the existence of variation in the link between perceived environmental uncertainty and alliance use as a consequence of key managers' entrepreneurial and individualism/collectivism orientations. Together, the findings enrich the picture of organizational use of alliances. |
