| Tiivistelmä: | In this article it is analyzed how domestic regulations have shaped the adaptations of ship owners in Norway. Norway has been one of the leading providers of international shipping services for 150 years. This article handles the interaction between the international and domestic aspects of the shipping industry. Its emphasis is particularly on demand, labour and capital. The article discusses especially the relationship between international developments and the Norwegian regulatory regime. |
