| Tiivistelmä: | This paper looks at Hipp, which was the first industrial food producer in Europe to receive recognition under the Eco Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). Hipp is the world's largest user of organically-grown raw material and can claim to be led by ethically-motivated company-owners, making the company a rich case study, especially with its long traditions in environmental management. This paper describes the company's experiences in the course of implementing an environmental management system (EMS) in line with their already existing environmental activities. |
