| Tiivistelmä: | Otis Elevator Company entered to China with the formation of the Tianjin-Otis Joint Venture. The contract consisted of Otis technology and management for Tianjin facilities as a going concern. The basis for the technology transfer and its compensation are reflected in the Technical Cooperation Agreement. Issues associated with the transfer of product technology,assimilation and application were resolved and differences as to the renovation of the factories were reconciled. Problems of Chinese enterprise management has been resolved with a fundamental management reform. |
