| Tiivistelmä: | Communication networks should never be an end in themselves for engineers merely for the sake of innovation. Consistent alignment to in-company requirements and the adoption of a systematic procedure are the only ways to ensure that this new technology will be applied to full advantage. An unambiguous definition of objectives is needed. Development of alternative concept variants is suggested. Recommendations regarding the system implementation are made. The possibility of a long-term control of results depends on a sophisticated plan which includes a crisis scenario. |
