| Tiivistelmä: | Up to a few years ago, management buy-outs were occasional in central Europe. Nowadays, it is quite normal that managers and managerial staffs are purchasing companies or parts thereof. The most important prerequisites of a successful management buy-out are described. A checklist for a business plan underlying a management buy-out is presented. The problems and methods of financing are discussed. Five phases typical to any management buy-out process are highlighted. |
