| Tiivistelmä: | The paper deals with the time dimension of disparity between Central and Eastern European countries and EU countries. Empirical analysis of sixteen countries in 1990 (12 countries of EU and 4 CEE countries) showed that the similarity of the analysed transition economies with EU countries is considerably greater on other indicators than in GDP per capita. |
