| Tiivistelmä: | In the 1970s a thorough comparative study of the USSR and USA economies was carried out at the Institute for the World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) of the USSr Academy of Sciences. The study was extremely secret because its results not only did not support the official Soviet comparisons of the main macroeconomic indices of the USSR and the USA but also because its results, in very many cases, were very close to the CIA comparisons. Now we have begun to contact each other and to compare the results of old and new studies. |
