| Tiivistelmä: | The author develops a model of two-part pricing by non-cooperative, price-setting duopolists selling a price- taking consumer with a general utility function. For varying marginal cost, a discontinuity in each firm's residual demand curve becomes important , changing the equilibrium, destroying the validity of the usual monopolistic formula. |
