| Tiivistelmä: | There is possibility of the outbreak of bank crisis due to the low quality of banks and a lot of bad loans. But it is possible to avoid it for the following reasons: China and China's banking system are all net creditors in the world capital market. China's external capital account is still closed. The Bank of China has not much been involved in real estate and stock market. To clear up bad loans, this paper suggests the following: estimating accurately the scale of bad loans and the cost of clearing up them; increasing reserves for bad loans; cancelling bad loans with the profits of banks and the capital funds which the Ministry of Finance gives to commercial banks; issuing long-term government bonds and selling the packed bad loans on securities market. |
