| Tiivistelmä: | The authors of this article share the results of their research into deals done by 21 corporate acquirers and financial buyers who have captured returns of 18 to 35 percent per year since 1995. What is particularly unusual about these companies is that they have pursued non-synergistic acquisitions, an approach the authors believe today's cash rich companies would do well to consider when looking for profitable ways to invest. |
