| Tiivistelmä: | Some facts about the education of business economics in Swiss universities are presented. Business economics as a doctrine of corporate business management is characterized. The new challenges to the business economics are related to the following factors: the changes in operating conditions of the Swiss companies; the new information technologies; the more and more intensive international competition; the growing role of human resources; the even greater importance of the owners requirements; ecological factors; the contradictions within the social value system; a broadened view about rationality. |
