| Tiivistelmä: | The broad applicability of the regression-analog to survival analysis to the study of time-dependent relationships is described and empirically illustrated. The presentation extends prior work focusing on life table analysis and the ANOVA-analog. In particular, the authors discuss decisions that researchers should make prior to calculating survival equations, subsequent estimation and interpretation of empirical results, graphical data analysis, and the treatment of time-depending covariates. |
