Tiivistelmä:This study explores how and why ongoing organizational change is experienced emotionally, and it also identifies important consequences of such emotional experiences. Three predecessors to negative emotions in continuous change are suggested: perceptions of an insecure future; perceptions of an insufficient working conditions; and perceptions of insufficient treatment by the organization. Two outcome variables were identified: trust in organization and retreat from the organization. The results of regresssion and path analysis suggest that continuous changes are associated with negative emotions and the presumption of the three predecessors of negative emotions were accurate. Negative emotions forecast employee lack of trust and employee withdrawal, both immediately and one month later.
