| Tiivistelmä: | The results of the population estimates need extensive scientific and political discussions as they show that the Swiss population will age and decline considerably in the 21st century. Two components of development are very important, one is fertility, the other is immigration. An increase in these though very important, would also mean socio-cultural changes in Swiss society. |
