Tiivistelmä:Wasteless production is an idea how to produce products and/or perform services with as small as possible consumption. The idea itself of course can not be disputed, as small consumption is so to say indispensable specially because of ecological and economical reasons. But proper (wise) utilization of human abilities is the base for real humanization of work. And still everyday experiences prove to us that it is nearly impossible to realize consistent saving with all production resources and people: depending on momentary situation and mood some people are sparing more with the tools, other with raw material, another with time etc.Unfortunately there are also some, who lovisly use everything and angrilly reject every little idea about lean consumption as far it is too hard stiginess. In the discussion we try to find out, if probability wrongly defined strategy can be the reason for such an illogical rejection of modesty in production. But the analysis of the strategy attainment shows that such a complex and wide idea of wasteless production cannot be put neither in the frame of strategy nor policy of organization. There is only one way left: let this idea gradually grow into the culture of the organization and production respectively.
