Tiivistelmä:Network organisational structure is a reaction of organisational theory and practice to the increased competition among enterprises from the end of 1970is on. Instead of the traditional pyramid vertically integrated parts of the value chain, networks have been performed as clusters of independent firms or specialised units of one firm, coordinated with market mechanisms instead of hierarchical commands as in traditional organisations. The most frequent types of networks are: stabile, internal and dynamic network.Lean organisation or lean production is defined as organisational structure which unifies the best characteristics of batch and of mass production. Its logic is simple: with less people, less material, smaller costs etc. produce faster and more products and services.
