| Tiivistelmä: | The purpose of this paper is to examine the process of employment and wage bill determination in the Bulgarian manufacturing sector with the use of a representative sample of medium and large firms. Results are consistent with an efficiently functioning labout market. It is important that findings reject the hypothesis that either persistant government stakes or mass privatization may have led to efficiency deterioration. |
