| Tiivistelmä: | An abridged version of the Evaluation of the economic situation by the members of the working party of the German Economic Research Institutes, Berlin, Germany, is presented. Since last autumn the pace of global economic growth has declined further. while economic growth in many developing and newly industrializing countries and in most East European economies has remained strong, the rise in output in industrialized countries has falled markedly. This largely reflects the stagnation in Western Europe. |
