| Tiivistelmä: | During the last five years, an increasing portion of the resources of GATT (the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade) has been devoted to settling (ruling on) dumping disputes; this is expected to diminish, however, with the full implementation of the Uruguay Round agreements. Advanced nations have been among the key players in the use or misuse of antidumping regulations in order to affect the "competitiveness" of foreign firms operating on their soil. |
