| Tiivistelmä: | Since 1961, special arrangements for international trade in textiles have been concluded within the framework of the GATT. Originally, these arrangements only covered trade in cotton textiles. In 1974, the Multi-Fibre Arrangement (MFA) entered into force, covering trade in wool and man-made fibre products as well. The MFA was originally concluded for a period of four years, but has since been extended five times, and will remain in force until 31 December 1994. |
