| Tiivistelmä: | Intellectual property laws and rights have not had importance in the sub-Saharan countries of Africa (SSA) that is attached to them in industrialized countries. This article discusses the main legal issues and areas which have major implications for the SSA countries in relation to the TRIPS Agreement. It also seeks to illustrate the challenges facing the WTO in relation to the implementation of the provisions of the TRIPS Agreement in respect of these countries. |
