| Tiivistelmä: | International dispute settlement mechanisms have become more innovative with the entry into force, on 1 January 1995, of the Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the Settlement of Disputes (WTO Understanding) annexed to the World Trade Organization Agreement. This article examines the legal structure of the WTO dispute settlement mechanism, a structure woven of two threads: adjudicative dispute resolution; and negotiatory dispute resolution. |
