| Tiivistelmä: | The Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Law of the USA is discussed. An economic approach for making injury determination is described. The general characteristics of the ACDL are summarized. Tasks of the USA International Trade Commission are examined. Factors to be considered by the Commission during the process of injury determination are listed. The nature of harm from dumping and subsidization is analysed. The effects of foreign subsidy on competing domestic producers are modelled. A framework is suggested for determining whether a domestic industry is materially injured by a subsidy. Legal implications are summarized. |
