| Tiivistelmä: | The results of the implementation of a new performance review scheme at the SATRA Footwear Technology Centre are described. The new scheme involved a radical departure from the previous one. Although accompained by an intense period of consultation and training, there were some concerns amongst all levels of staff that the ambitious objectives for the scheme would not be achieved. As an integral part of the implementation program, the attitudes of staff towards the review process were monitored. This process is outlined and concluded with a set of prescriptions for those organizations which are considering the introduction of such an approach for the first time. |
