| Tiivistelmä: | Barthes is well-known both for his theories of the sign and as the practitioner of the archetypal Hexagonal. A striking feature of his Mythologies is examined: the exploitation of the noun group /noun plus preposition plus noun/ in the valorisation of the lexicon. The writer goes back to the linguistic and cultural sources of the word and exploits denotative and connotative associations to create neologisms. |
