| Tiivistelmä: | The author shares the opinion that the time has not yet come to study the genesis of oral languages. The article is about a gestural language created without influence from any oral or written one. The analysis of the process of creation shows that the lexicon and the syntax were created simultaneously. Idiosyncratic features and the environment played a key role in the genesis of the former, whereas the syntax was conditioned by the peculiarity of this type of language. |
