It has formally welcomed the country back into the international fold, yet highlighted the many challenges still facing the leadership and people. The green light for the resumption of multilateral lending was given in July 1993, and the first money from this source began to flow towards the end of last year. The US has given the go ahead to international investors, but it's not full speed ahead yet. |
