| Tiivistelmä: | Union members generally tend to be loyal to their unions and unionized employees hold dual loyalties or dual commitments to both their unions and employing organizations. The extent of dual commitment may depend on labor-management relationship climate and work related experiences. There is a significant difference between voluntary and mandatory union contexts. A level of commitment was studied in three subgroups in the same bargaining unit: union members; nonmembers who were never members; nonmembers who were leavers. |
