| Tiivistelmä: | The article looks at the impact of the tariffs on the economic development and trade in Finland covering the interwar period. The quantitative analysis is based on the official statistics and the author used the effective rate of protection and input-output price models in order to estimate how tariffs affected the industries value added and prices. The findings reveal that the Finnish traffic policy benefit the domestic food production sector. |
