| Tiivistelmä: | The Japanese and Swedish industrial finance systems can be described as bank-oriented or control-oriented. This article reviews the functional and structural changes and continuities during the last two decades and how the deregulation, internationalization and crisis have influenced the financial groups. In the comparison of these two nations, particular attention is paid on such parameters of the industrial finance system as ownership and control, bank relationship, crisis management and personal networks. |
