| Tiivistelmä: | USA managers today work in a global economy that is promting new ways of organizing, leading, and doing business. Drawing on experience with a Swedish model, both theory and experience are introduced with Action Learning (AL) as a means to develop transformation leaders in the global marketplace. AL is described and then conditions of turbulence summarized that are prompting new business strategies, organizational models, and managerial roles. Various leadership development strategies are examined in light of the needs of international managers. Finally, AL is examined as an effective means to meet international leadership development needs, and models are described that tailor AL for the USA market. |
