Tiivistelmä: | Industrial services are defined as services provided by manufacturing companies to their industrial customers in order to enhance the marketing of products. A systematic and comprehensive literature review shows that this area has been neglected. Most of the services marketing literature focuses on consumer services. This article analyses what is known so far with respect to strategic questions in the area of industrial services, the role of industrial service in the marketing-mix, stages for definition and measurement of the quality of industrial services and the importance of industrial services in the relationship to the customer. The article points out conceptional-theoretical stages of the marketing science which are important for further investigations. |
