| Tiivistelmä: | Computer aided process planning (CAPP) seeks to embed in a computer program the expertise of machinists and knowledge contained in handbooks that list rules for cost-effective machine shop practice. With the advent of expert systems, there has been much effort directed towards the software implementation details of process planning. This research studies analytical techniques that can represent and model a process planner's decision making to automatically generate a process plan for a rotational part. |
