| Tiivistelmä: | Acquisition projects are processes going far beyond the phase of the actual purchasing of a company. An acquisition process does already start with searching for a prospective acquisition candidate and does only end if the acquired company has successfully been incorporated into the Group. In the course of this process, the acquisition controlling is in charge of continually improving the level of information. The acquisition controlling is being illustrated in this contribution taken from business life of Mannesmann Group. At Mannesmann, acquisitions play a vital part in the transition from a traditional tubes and pipes company to an international technology group. |
