| Tiivistelmä: | An overview of recent activities of the far right (here as: f-r.) in Russia (2004-2006) is presented. It is shown how formal organizations of the f-r. interact with local communities and skinhead subcultures. It is argued that government actions have facilitated an increase in recent f-r. militancy in Russia: the authorities have provided the f-r. with political opportunities used by their organizations to coordinate further actions, get new members etc. |
