| Tiivistelmä: | In spite of the attention devoted to it in the past, the structure of business groups continues to be a topic for debate. Earlier it was believed that the structure of a group was determined once and for all by a single act. This belief has given way to the conviction that, although fundamental restructuring may only be feasible once in a decade, the process of structural adaptation must be continuous. If an enterprise is examined from the standpoints of strategy, structure and culture, those features can be identified which will be vital in the future for group management and organization. |
