Under the circumstance of relatively higher growth rate of money and decLining growth rate of reserves after the downward adjustment of reserve ratio, the base money will keep a stable trend in 1998. It is estimated that compared with 1997, the 1998's money multiplier will increase by a wider margin, up over 15%, M1 balance rise by 17.5% or so and M2 balance be kept at 17% or so, the target set in the plan. |
