| Tiivistelmä: | USA official export-finance support is provided primarily by Eximbank. But budgetary and other limitations on that institution are significant, particularly regarding the amount of support available, and the applicable sectors and countries. In the late 1980s, American exporters have reported an urgent need for Eximbank resources to exploit overseas marketing opportunities. The fundamentals of this support are analyzed during 1976-1989 and an insight is offered as to why USA programs are repeatedly judged to be less competitive than those offered by major foreign agencies to their exporters. |
