Tiivistelmä: | The secret to holding down health care costs is flexibility. Employees are willing to share insurance costs if they can pay for what they want - and only what they want. Cafeteria plans are favored by employees because they allow tax-free benefit contributions and offer choice in benefit plans. A typical plan structure is presented. A case story is reported, telling how an HMO (health maintenance organization) has been introduced. Several examples are presented. Some strategies of contribution are examined. As a key to success communication is dealt with. |
