Tiivistelmä:Many firms have been striving to convince the public that their products are environmentally acceptable. For some firms the answer is simple - clean up production, tackle energy conservation or stamp everything with the all-embracing words "environmentally-friendly", but for many others even such answers are not easy to find. Increasingly firms are turning to environmentalists and sponsorship for solutions. Most big companies are addressing the problem, and many already have corporate strategies. Environmental audits are set to play an important part in company reports. The pressure on institutional investors to adopt ethical standards, increases.
