| Tiivistelmä: | In the first section the authors briefly outline the differences between three major European economies - Germany, France and the United Kingdom - as regards both their financial systems and their pension systems, and highlight the ways in which the differences between the national pension systems mirror the differences between the countries' overall financial systems. Then the authors discuss important ways in which the pension system and the respective financial system influence each other. This result will be summarized in last section where the authors also briefly discuss the implications which this relationship is likely to have for the development of the systems. |
