| Tiivistelmä: | In this research the author studies from the individual level of analysis the relationship between common creativity antecedents and intrinsic motivation by linking several common creativity antecedents, intrinsic motivations and one´s willingness to take risks to employee motivation. The topic is studied in this paper through a survey data, which was collected from 165 r&d personnel and their supervisors. Findings indicate that intrinsic motivation mediates the relationship between certain antecedents and one´s willingness to take risks and that this willingness mediates the effect of intrinsic motivation on employee creativity. However the findings also indicate that there is variance when subjective indicators are used rather than objective ones of employee creativity. |
